PATTERN PRIVACY POLICY
The CCQD Fellowship
Coaching Center by QD (“CCQD”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates Pattern (the “System”), an institutional AI reasoning engine engineered for YouTube Algorithmic Engineering, Automation, and Coaching. We are committed to upholding strict standards of data privacy, security, and transparency. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, processed, protected, and handled when you interact with Pattern across all web interfaces, landing pages, and workflow environments.
1. Core Privacy Principle: Your Data Is Yours
What you bring to Pattern (your ideas, workflow inputs, channel data, and attached files) remains your intellectual property.
- Purpose Limitation: Inputs are processed only to generate reasoning outputs for your active session.
- No Model Training: Your inputs, outputs, and attached assets (PNG, JPG, WebP) are not used by CCQD to train, fine-tune, or align any AI model. See Section 6.
2. Information We Collect
A. User-Provided Inputs (Workflow Data)
- Text inputs and titles you enter into workflows.
- Attached image assets (PNG, JPG, WebP) uploaded via the input action button.
- Text edited or generated within output card nodes.
B. Technical & Session Data
- Authentication identifiers (Fellow credentials, enrollment tokens).
- Basic operational telemetry (timestamp of execution, workflow selection, system performance metrics).
- Device and browser information (browser type, screen viewport dimensions, IP address for session isolation and rate-limiting).
- Security event records, including the input that triggered a security check, the time, and the session concerned.
3. How We Use Your Information
We process collected data only for the following purposes:
- Session Execution: To process active workflow prompts and render real-time outputs.
- System Optimization: To monitor platform stability, fix technical errors, and maintain performance standards across the CCQD Fellowship network.
- Access Control and Security: To verify active enrollment, detect misuse, and prevent unauthorized access contrary to the Honor Code & Terms of Use.
4. Data Storage & Retention
Pattern retains data only to the extent necessary to support your own workflow continuity. We do not retain data for CCQD’s own use, trade, or review.
- Real-Time Execution: Inputs are held in temporary computational memory for the duration of output generation.
- Recent Workflow Chats: Your main chat may remain visible in your workspace for a limited period after its last activity, so that you do not lose continuity of your own recent work. The length of this period depends on platform functionality and data-safety requirements, and is determined by CCQD from time to time. It is not kept for CCQD’s use, review, or any other purpose. For details, contact the Office of Admissions.
- Logs & Telemetry: System performance logs are automatically purged after a limited period determined by CCQD.
- Security Records: Security event records are kept only for as long as needed to review and resolve the matter, as determined by CCQD in line with data-safety requirements, and may be kept longer while an account review is open.
- Account Discontinuation: Upon a Fellow’s departure from CCQD, or upon discontinuing use of Pattern, their login credentials and any associated recent workflow data are permanently deleted.
5. Security & Encryption Standards
Pattern employs technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of your data:
- Encryption in Transit: Data transmitted between your browser and Pattern is encrypted using industry-standard protocols.
- Encryption at Rest: Saved workspace data and telemetry are encrypted using industry-standard methods.
- Access Isolation: Sessions are isolated, and the system is designed to prevent one Fellow’s data from being accessible to another.
- Technical Session Data: Pattern may use cookies or local browser storage only for technical purposes, such as maintaining secure login sessions and protecting the platform against unauthorized access. These are not used for advertising, tracking, or any purpose beyond Pattern’s own operational security.
6. Third-Party Infrastructure & Service Providers
Pattern uses third-party AI service providers to generate outputs. Your inputs are shared with them only to produce your output for the active session. We use provider settings and agreements that do not permit your data to be used to train or improve their models.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or monetize your personal data, inputs, or workspace output nodes under any circumstances.
7. Institutional Compliance & Acceptable Use
Pattern is provided for sincere use by CCQD Fellows. Misuse of the platform, including attempts to probe underlying prompts, reverse-engineer workflows, or upload malicious files, will result in immediate session termination and account review under the Honor Code & Terms of Use and CCQD Administrative Guidelines. Security records described in Sections 2 and 4 may be used for that review.
8. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or operational requirements. Any revisions will be communicated to Fellows through the CCQD office or official CCQD communication channels.
9. Output Accuracy Disclaimer
Pattern is an AI-based reasoning tool, and its outputs are generated algorithmically. While designed to support your workflow, outputs may occasionally be incomplete or imperfect, and should be reviewed and verified before being relied upon for coursework, content publication, or decision-making.
