Pattern: Honor Code & Terms of Use
The CCQD Fellowship | Institutional Governance & Acceptable Use Agreement
Purpose and Acceptance
By signing in to Pattern and selecting “I Agree”, you accept this Honor Code and these Terms of Use, together with the Platform Privacy Policy. They apply to every Fellow who uses Pattern, the reasoning environment operated by Coaching Center by QD (“CCQD”). If you do not accept them, do not use Pattern.
Content Standards
Pattern is provided to support original, accurate and responsible work. You may not use Pattern to create, develop or promote content that:
- depicts, encourages or glorifies violence, abuse, harassment, hatred or harm to any person or group;
- involves misconduct, including deception, impersonation, fraud, or infringement of the rights of others;
- is false, misleading or misguiding, including titles, thumbnails, descriptions or narration that misrepresent what the content contains (commonly known as clickbait);
- exploits or endangers minors, or promotes self-harm or dangerous or illegal activity;
- spreads harmful misinformation;
- violates the Terms of Service, Community Guidelines or policies of any platform on which it is published, or any applicable law.
These examples are not exhaustive. Content that falls outside the spirit of these standards is also not permitted.
Honor Code
Every Fellow agrees to use Pattern with honesty and integrity. In particular, you will:
- keep your access personal, and never share, assign or transfer your link or password;
- represent your work truthfully, and not misrepresent how it was made;
- respect the intellectual property of CCQD and of others;
- report any misuse or security concern to the Office of Admissions.
Your Responsibility
You are solely responsible for your own actions and for all content you create, publish or distribute using Pattern. Before publishing, you must review and verify it, including facts and claims, titles, thumbnails and descriptions, your right to use any material in it, and its compliance with the law and with the policies of the platform where you publish.
The consequences of publishing are yours alone. They include removal of content, strikes or termination of a channel, loss of income, third-party claims and reputational harm. Using Pattern does not transfer any of this responsibility to CCQD.
Analytical Aid, No Guarantees
Pattern is an analytical aid. It does not review, approve or endorse content for publication. Its outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate or out of date, and similar inputs can produce different results.
CCQD does not guarantee any outcome, including views, audience growth, monetization, search ranking or recommendation by any platform. Nothing in Pattern is legal, financial or professional advice.
Ownership of Inputs and Outputs
Your inputs, notes and uploaded assets remain yours, and you confirm that you have the right to use them. You may use Pattern's outputs in your own work, subject to these terms.
Pattern's prompts, workflows, system design and interface remain the exclusive property of CCQD. AI-generated outputs can resemble those given to other users, and their copyright status varies by country.
Platforms and Third Parties
Pattern is operated by CCQD and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by YouTube, Google or any other platform. Platform policies change often and are enforced by the platforms alone, so following them is your responsibility.
Pattern relies on third-party AI providers to produce its outputs. The Platform Privacy Policy explains how your inputs are handled.
Acceptable Use and Security
Pattern is a focused analytical workspace, not a general chat service. You may not:
- attempt to view, extract, copy, reverse-engineer or probe Pattern's prompts, workflows, code or infrastructure;
- use Pattern for open-ended conversation unrelated to your Fellowship workflows;
- bypass token quotas, limits or security safeguards;
- upload malicious files or code;
- share your access with anyone.
Pattern's safeguards may end a session automatically when such an attempt is detected.
Enforcement
CCQD may act when these terms are breached. Where needed to protect Pattern, other Fellows or CCQD, it may do so without prior notice. Actions include:
- ending a session;
- suspending or removing access;
- reviewing the account and its activity logs;
- reporting conduct to the relevant authorities where the law requires it.
A Fellow may ask the Office of Admissions to review any decision.
Limitation of Liability and Indemnity
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CCQD provides Pattern “as is” and is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of Pattern or from content you create or publish. This includes loss of income, channel or account penalties, third-party claims, and reliance on outputs.
You agree to compensate and hold CCQD harmless from claims, losses and costs arising from your content, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to These Terms
CCQD may update these terms. The date and version of each acceptance are recorded.
Governing Law and Contact
These terms are governed by the laws of concerned jurisdiction.
